Candace Cameron Bure recently took a moment to reminisce about her cherished time on the beloved series “Full House,” which celebrated its 38th anniversary on September 22. Sharing a heartfelt gallery of photos on Instagram, Bure, who played the iconic role of D.J. Tanner, expressed her gratitude for the memorable years spent on the show. “Full House,” which first aired on ABC on September 22, 1987, and concluded in 1995, remains a significant part of Bure’s life. In her post, she fondly acknowledged the journey full of “laughter, lessons, and lots and lots of love” with a nod to one of her character’s famed catchphrases.

The post featured nostalgic images capturing various moments from the show’s run, including shots with her on-screen father Bob Saget—who played Danny Tanner and who sadly passed away in 2022—along with other beloved cast members. Photos showcased sweet memories such as the cast’s trip to Disneyland, moments with her fellow castmates Lori Loughlin, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, and the twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of the youngest Tanner sibling, Michelle.

Co-star David Coulier, who portrayed Joey Gladstone in the series, joined Bure in her nostalgic reflection by commenting, “My family that I will love forever,” reinforcing the enduring bond shared among the cast. Bure rounded out her post with a poignant video of the cast’s final bow after filming the concluding episode in February 1995.

“Full House” wasn’t just a TV show for its cast—it was truly a second family. Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy Gibbler, noted in a previous conversation how the show formed much of their childhood, strengthening lifelong connections. The legacy of “Full House” continued through its Netflix sequel, “Fuller House,” which aired until 2020, bringing Bure, Sweetin, and Barber together once more to explore the adult lives of their beloved characters.

Jodie Sweetin’s sentiments echo the significant impact “Full House” had on their lives, as she embraces her life-long connection to her role as Stephanie Tanner. Influenced by Saget and Coulier, Sweetin has ventured into comedy, finding confidence and inspiration from her formative years on set. As the series continues to resonate with fans and its memorable catchphrases live on, Bure and her fellow cast members remain beloved icons for a generation that grew up watching the Tanners navigate the ups and downs of family life.
