Calling All Young Sports Fans: Become the Chicago Sky’s Next Jr. Broadcaster!

The Chicago Sky and Marquee Sports Network are excited to announce the Jr. Broadcast Competition for young sports enthusiasts. This is a unique opportunity for those aged 14 and under to showcase their passion for sports commentary by becoming the Sky Jr. Broadcaster for the Sky game against the Indiana Fever on August 30.

To enter, participants must submit a brief video explaining why they want to be a Chicago Sky Jr. Broadcaster. Creativity and personality are encouraged! In addition to the video, contestants need to fill out an online entry form and submit their video via a designated Google link, ensuring it is viewable.

Judging will be conducted by experts from the Chicago Sky and Marquee Sports Network, who will evaluate entries based on communication clarity, knowledge of the sport, creativity, and passion for sports.

Prizes for the winners include a VIP experience with two tickets to the game on August 30, an exclusive swag bag, and a broadcast opportunity with the Marquee Sports Network.

The competition has specific rules: participants must be under 14 years of age, video submissions should be original and no longer than 30 seconds, and only one entry is allowed per participant. Parental consent is required for those under 13.

This is a fantastic chance for budding broadcasters to make their voices heard and take the first step in their broadcasting careers. Entries are due soon, so interested participants should act quickly!
