A serious road accident occurred this afternoon on Queens Road in Sigatoka, resulting in 29 individuals receiving treatment at Sigatoka Hospital. The collision happened around 1:45 PM at Semo Hill, where a truck reportedly lost control and crashed into a vehicle ahead of it before head-on colliding with an oncoming bus.

Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, transporting 28 passengers from the bus and the truck driver to the hospital with various injuries. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine its cause.
