Authorities in Calabasas are seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in the theft of a luxury mountain bike valued at several thousand dollars. The incident occurred early on Tuesday at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the 5900 block of Las Virgenes.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect utilized bolt cutters to sever the chain that secured a white Specialized Epic 8 Evo Comp mountain bike to a pole in a parking area. This premium bicycle has a market price ranging from $3,800 to $4,500.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged between 30 and 35. He was last seen wearing a black hat, light-colored pants, a black long-sleeve sweatshirt, and black and white tennis shoes.
