Caitlin Clark, the standout rookie guard for the Indiana Fever, showcased her scoring ability once again as she nearly matched her season-high in points, leading her team to a 100-93 comeback victory over the Dallas Wings. With this win, the Fever have now achieved a four-game winning streak and improved their record to 17-16, surpassing the .500 mark.

Clark scored 28 points during the game, though it was her teammate Kelsey Mitchell who shone brightest with a career-high of 36 points. The game started slowly for Clark, who managed just five points during the first quarter and a half. During the first half, Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale stole the spotlight by hitting five 3-pointers in the first quarter and achieving 24 points by halftime.

However, Clark made history as she became the all-time leading scorer for rookies in a single season for the Fever, surpassing the previous record held by Tamika Catchings when she reached 595 points.

Ogunbowale would go on to tie a single-game WNBA record by hitting nine 3-pointers, but it was the Fever who dominated in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Wings 30-19. Notably, Clark contributed with two deep 3-pointers midway through the quarter that energized the team.

This performance followed a game where Clark scored 31 points against the Chicago Sky on Friday, marking the first time in franchise history that the Fever scored 100 or more points in consecutive games.

In terms of individual performance, Clark played 37 minutes against the Wings, shooting 10-of-19 from the field, including 5-of-11 from three-point range. She also contributed four rebounds, 12 assists, and one steal, while recording her 12th double-double of the season, although she had seven turnovers.
