Cabinet has given the green light for the partial surrender of the Colo-i-Suva Forestry Reserve lease, facilitating the Water Authority of Fiji’s expansion of its infrastructure. This pivotal decision supports a significant upgrade project along the Sawani to Colo-i-Suva corridor, which is designed to enhance and boost water supply capacity for the communities situated between Sawani and Tacirua.
The Water Authority of Fiji plans to utilize a portion of land within the forest reserve adjacent to its existing reservoir in Colo-i-Suva.
