For a limited time, Chipotle enthusiasts can showcase their knowledge of the popular Mexican fast-food chain for a chance to win free burritos for a year and buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) codes for regular menu items.

The trivia contest begins at 6:01 a.m. Pacific on Tuesday, August 20, and concludes at 8:59 p.m. Pacific on Thursday, August 22. This event is designed for Chipotle Rewards members and will quiz participants on various aspects of Chipotle, including its ingredients and brand history.

“This is the fifth year we are testing our fans’ knowledge with Chipotle IQ,” said Chief Brand Officer Chris Brandt in a press release. “With four million game plays since the game’s inception, we believe there is a strong interest in competition and free burritos. A helpful hint: we use 48 avocados in each batch of our hand-mashed guacamole.”

Chipotle plans to give away over $1 million in BOGO codes and free burritos during the contest. Chipotle IQ is available exclusively to Chipotle Rewards members in the United States and Canada.

To participate in Chipotle IQ, players should visit chipotleiq.com and sign up for Chipotle Rewards if they haven’t done so already.

The game includes multiple-choice, true-or-false, and short-answer questions, and participants can play once each day.

Prizes include 5,000 BOGO codes awarded each hour to the first Chipotle Rewards members who achieve a perfect score of 10 out of 10. These BOGO codes can be redeemed for a main entrée item, such as a burrito, burrito bowl, or a single order of three tacos.

Achieving a perfect score will also unlock an extra credit question. Correct answers will enter participants into a drawing for one of 50 prizes of free burritos for a year.

In California, there are currently 478 Chipotle locations. A complete list of these locations can be found on the company’s online directory.
