Bunnie Xo to Self-Surrender Over Five-Year-Old Alabama License Suspension

Bunnie Xo, the wife of country rapper Jelly Roll, recently disclosed on her podcast “Dumb Blonde” that she will voluntarily surrender herself to authorities due to a suspended license. During the November 21 episode, she candidly shared that her predicament stems from an unpaid ticket dating back to 2020 in Alabama, which resulted in her license being suspended without her knowledge.

Bunnie Xo revealed that she first became aware of the suspension when she was pulled over by police for having tinted windows. “The cop runs my license and he comes back and he goes, ‘Do you know your license is suspended?’ And I was like, ‘What? When? How could this happen?’” she recounted. Following this encounter, she promptly paid the outstanding ticket, believing that it would rectify the issue. However, during another traffic encounter, she discovered that her license was still under suspension.

“I might’ve been speeding, I don’t know. I can’t confirm or deny,” she playfully noted regarding her second stop, where the officer informed her that driving with a suspended license could lead to arrest. Thankfully, instead of being taken into custody, she was advised to self-surrender.

Bunnie Xo confirmed that she planned to film her self-surrender experience, adding a light-hearted spin to the situation. “It looks like your girl is gonna have to go book herself in, and if I do, you guys have seen all my past mugshots, right? I’m going in glammed the f—– up, baby,” she stated, embracing the humor in her predicament.

Despite her upbeat approach, the situation carries seriousness. Bunnie Xo expressed her anxiety about the self-surrender process, acknowledging the implications of her actions. “I hope they don’t hold me in jail. I have anxiety. I’m not built for prison and jail… I know we’re laughing about it, and it’s no joking matter. Don’t drive on a fricken’ suspended license. But I didn’t know. This ticket’s from five years ago,” she advised, urging others to be vigilant about their driving statuses.

Earlier this month, she took to Instagram to share previous mugshots, reflecting on her journey and growth. “They remind me who I used to be, & how far grace has carried me,” she expressed in her post, showcasing her resilience in facing life’s challenges.

In a world where many strive for connection and authenticity, Bunnie Xo’s willingness to share her story, even in its humor and trials, resonates with many. It highlights the importance of accountability and the journey toward personal growth.
