The Chicago Bulls are optimistic about the potential return of guards Josh Giddey and Tre Jones for their upcoming game against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday. Both players have been dealing with left hamstring injuries that have kept them sidelined.

Giddey, who has been away from the court for the last eight games, experienced a setback to his hamstring during a matchup with the Indiana Pacers on January 28. This injury followed an earlier issue he sustained on December 29 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which led to him missing 11 games. Despite these challenges, Giddey, 23, is having a standout season, posting career-high averages of 18.6 points, 8.8 assists, and 8.6 rebounds over 34 appearances, including 31 as a starter. Throughout his career with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Bulls, Giddey has played in 314 games, accumulating averages of 14.6 points, 7.6 assists, and 6.4 rebounds since being drafted sixth overall in the 2021 NBA Draft.

Meanwhile, Tre Jones, 26, has not taken the court since January 22. He contributes significantly to the team, averaging 12.4 points, 5.8 assists, and leading the squad with 1.3 steals across 38 games this season, with 20 of those being starts.

The potential return of these key players could provide a much-needed boost for the Bulls as they look to strengthen their performance on the court.
