BULA FC has enhanced its roster in anticipation of the inaugural OFC Professional League set to kick off next month, announcing the signing of two promising players: Adam Supyk from New Zealand and national defender Filipe Baravilala. This brings the club’s total player count to 21.

Adam Supyk, just 21 years old, enters Bula FC with a wealth of experience gained from various New Zealand football leagues. His career includes significant performances with clubs such as Waimak United, Nomads United, Lower Hutt City, as well as the Wellington Phoenix Reserves and Wellington Olympic. Supyk has also represented New Zealand at multiple levels, including under-19, under-20, and under-23, totaling 22 appearances in international junior competitions.

Expressing enthusiasm about joining Bula FC, Supyk remarked, “I’m really excited to be here and grateful for the opportunity to join Bula FC. The lads have been working hard thus far, and I’m looking forward to meeting the supporters and doing what I can to help the team achieve its goals.”

On the other hand, defender Filipe Baravilala, who proudly became the club’s 20th signing, has an impressive history as well. He was part of the national U23 team that famously qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics. Reflecting on his career, Baravilala shared, “I thank God Almighty for the talent, strength, and opportunities. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved over the years, and I hope to do more with Bula FC.” He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support from his family, particularly his partner, throughout his football journey.

The recruitment of Supyk and Baravilala not only bolsters Bula FC’s squad but also demonstrates the club’s dedication to constructing a competitive team ahead of the league season. These signings create a positive outlook as Bula FC aims to make a notable mark in Fiji’s professional football landscape, offering hope and excitement among players and fans alike.
