Bula FC’s head coach, Stephane Auvray, expressed optimism regarding his team’s progress as they gear up for their upcoming tour in New Zealand. Auvray noted that the players are gradually adapting to the heightened intensity of their training sessions, which are focused on improving fitness, endurance, and overall athleticism.

The rigorous training regimen includes twice-daily sessions that combine fitness workouts with tactical drills and ball skills. “We have been running a lot, and we are working on endurance so the players can develop good athleticism,” Auvray explained.

While acknowledging the challenging nature of the training, he remains confident that the players will reap the benefits as the season unfolds. He remarked on their current struggles, stating, “They are tired because they are not used to this rhythm of work. The running is painful for them, but I explained it will pay dividends by February and March.”

Despite the demanding practices, Auvray praised the resilience and commitment shown by the team. “So far so good. I have to give them a few reminders, but I am still satisfied,” he said, reflecting positively on their progress.

Additionally, Auvray appreciated the integration of foreign players into the squad, highlighting their professionalism and the collaborative spirit building within the team. “They are blending in very well and they are very welcome. I want them to bring professionalism, and we are getting to that level.”

Overall, Auvray’s leadership and the team’s commitment to adapting to rigorous training suggest a promising outlook as they prepare for their forthcoming challenges in New Zealand.
