Indian national Joshua Raj has officially joined Bula FC as the club’s strength and conditioning coach for the upcoming OFC Pro League season. Having arrived in Fiji just last week, he has already begun integrating with the squad as they prepare for the challenges ahead in the league.
Joshua brings over seven years of extensive experience in high-performance fitness, having worked with athletes across India, the Middle East, and Europe. This diverse background equips him with valuable insights that he is eager to share with the team, aimed at enhancing their athletic capabilities.
Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity, Joshua conveyed his enthusiasm about contributing to the development of football in Fiji. He noted the promising blend of youth and experience within the team, expressing his belief that the inclusion of foreign expertise will not only bolster the squad’s performance but also foster a spirit of collaboration among the staff and players. “As we approach the competition, I am confident that we will align our goals and be fully prepared,” he stated.
Before joining Bula FC, Joshua had a significant tenure with the Indian Football Federation, where he collaborated with various national teams, including men’s, women’s, and age-group squads. He also served as the Performance Coach for Malappuram FC in the Kerala Super League, where he had the opportunity to work alongside Fijian star Roy Krishna.
With the new season approaching, Joshua’s arrival is met with optimism, as he aims to elevate the team’s performance and help them reach their competitive goals in the league. His involvement is seen as a positive step for Bula FC and the broader development of football in Fiji.
