During the 2024-25 season, Prince proved to be a significant contributor, starting in 73 of the 80 games. He averaged 8.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists over 27.1 minutes per game while showcasing his defensive versatility and shooting prowess. Notably, he achieved a career-high 43.9% shooting from three-point range, adding depth to the Bucks’ wing position.
However, it’s important to point out the challenges he faced during the playoffs. Prince struggled offensively, managing only six points on a disappointing 2-of-10 shooting in a total of 61 minutes in the first-round series against Indiana. His performance led to him losing his starting position after just two games, casting some uncertainty on his role as the team heads into training camp.
Prince is the third free agent to re-sign with the Bucks this offseason, following Bobby Portis and Kevin Porter. Meanwhile, the Bucks will need to address the departure of Brook Lopez, who is heading to the Clippers, indicating that additional frontcourt support may be necessary for the team as they prepare for the upcoming season.
