COLUMBUS, Ohio — Mylan Graham, a former five-star wide receiver for the Ohio State football team, has decided to enter the transfer portal after spending two seasons with the Buckeyes. During his tenure in Columbus, Graham recorded a modest six receptions for 93 yards.

He becomes the third Ohio State receiver to pursue opportunities elsewhere this offseason, following Bryson Rodgers and Damarion Witten. As the team prepares for the 2025 season, Graham was anticipated to serve as a backup behind standout wideouts Carnell Tate and Jeremiah Smith.

Despite high expectations surrounding Graham, especially due to his comparable talent to former Buckeye Garrett Wilson and his choice to wear the iconic No. 5 jersey, he faced challenges in securing consistent playing time. This was particularly evident last November when injuries sidelined both Smith and Tate, yet Graham still struggled to make an impact.

The Buckeyes are experiencing a transition at the wide receiver position. Following the team’s loss to Miami in the College Football Playoff, Ohio State’s receivers coach and offensive coordinator Brian Hartline departed to take up the head coaching role at South Florida. The program has quickly responded by bringing in former LSU assistant Cortez Hankton as the new receivers coach.

As Ohio State looks ahead, this shift could lead to new opportunities for growth and talent development within the team. Fans and analysts alike will be eager to see how these changes influence the Buckeyes’ performance moving forward.
