Authorities in Bucaramanga have announced total road closures in several areas as part of traffic management measures for a football match between the local team and Deportes Tolima. The affected routes include Calle 14, between Carreras 30 and 32B, in both directions; Carrera 30, between Calles 11 and 14; and Carrera 29 at its intersections with Calles 11, 12, 13, and 14.

Despite these closures, authorities confirmed that Carrera 29 remains open for south-north traffic, providing an alternative route for drivers. Citizens are encouraged to use alternative routes and plan their travel in advance to minimize congestion and delays.

The match, part of the semi-final group stage of Liga BetPlay II 2025, saw Atlético Bucaramanga and Deportes Tolima end in a scoreless draw. After the event, traffic is expected to be resumed gradually in the affected areas, depending on mobility and safety conditions.

The road closures began in the afternoon and are expected to last until 11:30 p.m., following the established traffic management plan for the event. Authorities emphasized that the reopening of roads will be gradual, in consideration of the public’s departure and overall traffic conditions.

This proactive approach underscores the city’s commitment to ensuring a smoother experience for both residents and event attendees while maintaining public safety during large gatherings.
