Buc-ee’s Expands North: First Virginia Location Opens Amid Grand Celebration!

Buc-ee’s, the popular gas station chain famous for its wide array of snack offerings including flavorful brisket and the beloved Beaver Nuggets, is expanding its reach with the opening of two new locations this week. Among these is Buc-ee’s first store in Virginia, situated off Interstate 81 in Rockingham County, near Harrisonburg. The grand opening attracted large crowds eager to enjoy the chain’s signature barbecue, fudge, and beaver-themed merchandise.

The Virginia location signifies Buc-ee’s first foray outside the traditional deep South, bringing its beloved brand closer to the Northeastern U.S., with Washington, D.C. being a convenient two-hour drive away.

In addition to the Virginia store, a new Buc-ee’s also opened today in Brunswick, Georgia, further enhancing the chain’s presence in the southeastern region. This expansion follows the recent debut of Mississippi’s first Buc-ee’s in Pass Christian, which launched in June and features impressive amenities such as 120 fuel pumps and 24 electric vehicle charging stations.

Looking ahead, Buc-ee’s is planning additional expansions with new locations set to open in 2026, including sites in Monroe County, Georgia, Boerne, Texas, Huber Heights, Ohio, San Marcos, Texas, Goodyear, Arizona, Benton, Arkansas, Ocala, Florida, and Mebane, North Carolina.

With a current total of 36 locations in Texas alone, Buc-ee’s continues to grow its footprint, appealing to more snack lovers and road trippers across the country. The excitement surrounding these new openings showcases the brand’s expanding popularity as it reaches new markets and introduces its unique offerings to more customers.
