A woman in her thirties has been arrested for attempting to enter the residence of Jeon Jung-kook, a member of the renowned South Korean pop group BTS, just hours after his discharge from military service. The incident occurred around 11 PM on Wednesday when she was reportedly trying to access Jungkook’s flat in Seoul by repeatedly pressing on the keypad door lock, as reported by Yonhap News Agency.
The police were alerted by a resident who noticed the woman’s unusual activity, leading to her swift apprehension on charges of attempted housebreaking. During questioning, she allegedly stated that she had traveled to South Korea specifically to see Jungkook following his completion of an 18-month mandatory military service.
Jungkook, alongside his bandmate Park Ji-min, popularly known as Jimin, was discharged from the military that day. Earlier in the day, both stars participated in a celebratory ceremony, dressed in military uniforms, greeting fans who gathered to welcome them back.
