SEOUL – Members of BTS RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook are nearing the end of their mandatory military service, with their discharges scheduled for next week. Big Hit Music has released a statement appealing to fans to avoid visiting the discharge sites to prioritize safety.
According to an announcement on Hybe’s global fandom platform Weverse, RM and V will return home on June 10, while Jimin and Jungkook are set to follow on June 11. The agency stressed that no official event will take place on these days, expressing concerns over safety hazards that could arise from overcrowding at the confined military grounds, which are shared with other soldiers.
Big Hit Music highlighted that the well-being of both the artists and their fans remains their highest priority, urging everyone to refrain from gathering at the military sites.
Additionally, Suga, serving as a social service worker, is slated to complete his alternative service on June 21. Meanwhile, Jin and J-Hope, who were the first BTS members to enlist, successfully returned in June and October of 2024, respectively, and have since resumed their individual projects.
As BTS members transition back into their careers, their fans eagerly await their return to the stage. The band’s previous members have demonstrated successful solo ventures, igniting excitement about what projects the returning members might pursue.
