Hulk Hogan’s death has sparked questions from his daughter, Brooke Hogan, who says she’s still seeking answers about the official narrative surrounding her father’s passing.
Hogan died on July 24 at the age of 71 from a cardiac arrest. Medics found the WWE icon at his home in Clearwater, Florida, and he was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to officials. Brooke now says she has received calls from professionals—ranging from police officials to nurses who were reportedly with her father on the day of his death—urging her to review body camera footage and 911 tapes that could offer new information and potentially change how the events are described.
“These professionals feel passionately about what they witnessed and have continued to contact me, pushing me to find specific answers to this very day,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “They are putting their careers at risk because they feel compelled to do the right thing.”
Hogan was laid to rest in a private funeral in Clearwater earlier this month. Brooke has said she understands she has “zero control” over matters related to her father, with decisions effectively in the hands of his widow, Sky Daily. “The short of it is—it’s all up to my dad’s wife, and I have zero control. I cannot do anything; my hands are tied, and I have no say in anything regarding my dad—even as his daughter. Those are the rules as I’ve been told.”
She also indicated uncertainty about when her father was cremated and said she is still awaiting an autopsy. “I have been told by my brother there will be an autopsy. I do not know who will be performing the autopsy. Any information I receive from an autopsy—if one happens—whether I believe it or not, I will keep private out of respect for my father,” she wrote.
A death investigation is being conducted by police, though officials have previously said there are no signs of foul play. Documents released last month listed the official cause of death as a heart attack and noted a history of leukemia, a detail that had not been public before.
Brooke has voiced skepticism about some official disclosures, urging that body cam footage and 911 dispatch calls not be restricted from public access. She noted that such materials are not available through the Freedom of Information Act and questioned why. She also raised concerns about her father’s general physician signing off on his death certificate, signaling that she would let the public weigh the issue themselves while choosing to keep some information private out of respect for her father.
In recounting the situation, Brooke said she recognizes that answers would be helpful but “none of it brings my dad back,” and she emphasized that her hands remain tied in the process.
While the family pursues clarity, fans and onlookers continue to follow the developments closely, hoping for transparency as to the circumstances surrounding Hogan’s death and what steps, if any, will be taken to provide further information to his loved ones.
