The Denver Broncos have released their list of inactive players for the upcoming Monday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Notably, wide receiver Marvin Mims, despite a hip concern, is active and ready to participate. Mims, who is recognized as Denver’s leading return specialist, is positioned as the third receiver behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin, who has frequently filled the WR2 position this season.
The six players who won’t be participating include tight end Lucas Krull, outside linebacker Que Robinson, quarterback Sam Ehlinger, offensive tackle Frank Crum, defensive lineman Jordan Jackson, and running back Jaleel McLaughlin. In particular, with defensive lineman Jackson inactive, Sai’vion Jones, a third-round pick, will step onto the field for his first NFL game. Additionally, the absence of Krull means the Broncos will rely on their three tight ends: Evan Engram, Adam Trautman, and Nate Adkins.
Despite being inactive, Ehlinger can still suit up under NFL rules, serving as an emergency quarterback should the team’s two active quarterbacks face injuries during the game. The Broncos are also managing a list of players currently on injured reserve, including Malcolm Roach and Dre Greenlaw.
As the game approaches, anticipation builds for new and returning players alike to contribute to the Broncos’ strategy against the Bengals. With some key players sidelined and others ready for their debut or return from injuries, fans are eager to see how these dynamics play out on the field under the lights of Monday night football.
