The critically acclaimed series “Brilliant Minds” is set to return with its second season, bringing with it more intriguing neurological mysteries. Zachary Quinto reprises his role as the passionate and unconventional physician Oliver Wolf, drawing inspiration from the real-life neurologist and writer Oliver Wolf Sacks. Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Monday, September 22, and will pick up a month and a half after the dramatic conclusion of the first season.
The first season left audiences with several compelling storylines: Oliver discovered that his father, Noah (portrayed by Mandy Patinkin), who was presumed dead by suicide, is actually alive and suffering from a neurological disorder.
