Carvalho initially gained recognition at Fulham, where he had an impressive season in the 2021/22 Championship, scoring ten goals and providing eight assists at just 19 years old, helping his team secure promotion. He spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and Hull City in the Championship, excelling particularly with Hull, where he scored nine goals in 20 outings.

Brentford head coach Thomas Frank expressed enthusiasm about the new addition, highlighting Carvalho’s versatility in offensive positions and his capability to create and convert chances.
