Breeze Airways is set to gauge the interest in international travel from Rhode Island with a new initiative that will feature an eight-week trial of weekly flights from Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport to Cancun, Mexico, a beloved beach haven. This pilot program will include flights every Saturday, with the service commencing on February 18 and concluding on April 4, offering travelers a one-way base fare of $159.

The direct flights connecting Providence to Cancun are now open for reservations on Breeze Airways’ website, promising ease of access for travelers looking to escape to the tropical destination. Breeze Airways, aiming to cater to the needs of Rhode Island travelers, is committed to offering a seamless and enhanced travel experience. David Neeleman, the founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, emphasized that Rhode Island is more than just a base for the airline but is home to a growing community of both guests and team members. He expressed pride in the airline’s ability to provide the new international service.

Through this trial, Breeze Airways seeks to not only meet the travel demands of Rhode Islanders but also to expand their service offerings and solidify their presence in the area. As the airline ventures into international routes, it underscores the importance of connectivity and convenience for the local population.
