Breakup Contract Rumors: Kelce’s Team Fires Back at Claims!

Travis Kelce’s representatives have dismissed rumors regarding a supposed breakup contract between the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and pop star Taylor Swift. Reports emerged online claiming that documents outlining a media strategy for the couple in case they split had surfaced, allegedly associated with Full Scope, the public relations firm representing Kelce. However, these claims have not been verified by TODAY.com.

In response to the speculation, Kelce’s team labeled the documents as “false and fabricated.” A spokesperson for Full Scope stated on September 4, “These documents are entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued, or authorized by this agency. We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents.”

Kelce and Swift began dating in the summer of 2023, with their relationship gaining public attention when Swift attended her first Chiefs game on September 24, 2023, to support Kelce. The football player has shared details about their romance, expressing admiration for Swift’s self-awareness and genuineness around her family and friends.

In a June 2024 episode of the podcast “Bussin’ With The Boys,” Kelce revealed the moment he started developing feelings for Swift, appreciating her ability to maintain composure despite the intense scrutiny she faces.

During a September 3 appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show,” Kelce reminisced about performing with Swift during her “Eras Tour” concert, playfully referring to her as “Tay Tay” and joking about her creating plays for him to use in his games.

Swift has attended over a dozen Chiefs games, with fans eager for her appearance at the upcoming home game on September 5. During her concerts, she has made playful references to Kelce, even adjusting the lyrics of her song “Karma” to mention “the guy on the Chiefs.” She has also expressed the couple’s commitment to supporting each other, particularly when she was acknowledged as Time’s 2023 Person of the Year.

Swift stated, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care. We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.” She clarified that by the time she attended that first game, they were already a couple, dismissing any notion that it was their first date.
