The Boston Bruins and the Boston Bruins Foundation have announced that the fifth annual Pucks & Paddles event is set to take place on Wednesday, November 20, at 3 p.m. at the House of Blues located at 15 Lansdowne Street in Boston, MA.
Since its inception in 2018, the tournament has successfully raised over $435,000 for charitable causes. This year’s event will showcase current Bruins players, former alumni, on-air personalities from 98.5 The Sports Hub, and athletes from Special Olympics Massachusetts.
Participants will engage in a single-elimination tournament, where Bruins players, media talent, and selected winning bidders will compete. The event will culminate in a championship game featuring the last two teams standing, with the victors earning the title of the David Pastrnak & 98.5 The Sports Hub Pucks & Paddles Champions. All proceeds from this event will go toward benefiting Special Olympics Massachusetts and the Boston Bruins Foundation, supporting their ongoing community initiatives.
For fans interested in attending, VIP ticket packages are available for purchase.
This event not only highlights the spirit of competition but also demonstrates the Bruins’ commitment to community service, making it a commendable occasion for both sports fans and charitable supporters alike. By raising funds for Special Olympics Massachusetts, the event reinforces the importance of inclusion and support for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
