New York, NY – August 20, 2024 – 2K and Gearbox Software have officially announced the upcoming release of Borderlands® 4, set to launch in 2025 during Take-Two’s Fiscal Year 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation®5 (PS5®), Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Fans can already add it to their wishlists.
The announcement was made during gamescom’s Opening Night Live, featuring a teaser trailer that introduces players to a brand-new planet. As the fourth main installment and the seventh game overall in the franchise, Borderlands 4 will allow players to return to the role of a legendary Vault Hunter, on a quest for secret alien treasures while engaging in explosive battles.
