An early release of this week’s patch notes for Borderlands 4 has inadvertently appeared on the official French website, revealing significant updates, particularly for the game’s less favored vault hunter, Amon. The patch notes, dated September 25, outline an impressive 66 buffs distributed throughout Amon’s three skill trees, aimed at enhancing his performance and addressing several bugs.

Among the notable improvements, Amon’s Primal Surge passive now correctly restores shields and ammunition, while fixes for his Crucible Axes ensure they detect nearby enemies effectively. Additionally, a change to the Wall of Flame prevents its Vengeance ability from triggering before Scourge is activated, helping Amon’s abilities function as intended.

The patch includes extensive numerical buffs, with highlights such as a 50 percent increase in Scourge’s maximum Vengeance, enhancing Amon’s damage absorption and output with the whip, which itself received a substantial 27 percent damage increase. The Onslaughter action skill sees a whopping 78 percent boost in damage and improved efficacy against shielded enemies, alongside 71 percent and 69 percent damage increases for abilities like Fellfrost and Fulminating Fist, respectively.

These updates are set to roll out later this week and appear primarily focused on balancing for endgame players. While Amon players can look forward to these enhancements, it’s noteworthy that popular builds, such as the Vex knife crit build, will remain unaffected.

Borderlands 4 continues to evolve post-launch with regular patches aimed at refining gameplay across all platforms. For dedicated players seeking to enhance their experience, visiting the Borderlands 4 SHiFT Code page can yield some free in-game loot.
