New York, NY – August 20, 2024 – 2K and Gearbox Software have officially revealed that Borderlands® 4, the latest installment in the celebrated looter-shooter series, is set to be released in 2025 during Take-Two’s Fiscal Year 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation®5 (PS5®), Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Players can already add it to their wishlists.
The announcement was made during gamescom’s Opening Night Live, where a teaser trailer showcased an exciting new planet in the Borderlands universe. Borderlands 4 marks the fourth main title and the seventh overall in the franchise, allowing players to once again take on the role of a legendary Vault Hunter in pursuit of hidden alien treasure while engaging in chaotic combat.
