Drew Fielder delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 33 points as the Boise State Broncos triumphed over the San Diego State Aztecs with a final score of 86-77 on Tuesday. Fielder also contributed nine rebounds, helping the Broncos improve their record to 19-11 overall, with an 11-8 mark in the Mountain West Conference.

In addition to Fielder’s impressive showing, Javan Buchanan added 17 points, shooting 6 of 11 from the field, including two successful three-pointers and three out of four from the free-throw line. Dylan Andrews also played a significant role, chipping in 13 points for Boise State.

On the other side, Reese Waters led the Aztecs with 23 points, while Tae Simmons supported with 12 points as San Diego State’s record fell to 19-10 overall and 13-6 in the conference.

Boise State seized control of the game early on, taking the lead just 64 seconds into the first half and maintaining a 34-27 advantage at halftime, with Fielder already racking up 12 points. The Broncos further solidified their lead in the second half, executing a remarkable 12-0 run that extended their advantage to 20 points at 51-31 with 15:22 remaining.
