On June 14, 2025, music enthusiasts and families are invited to the Brews and Blues Festival hosted at the Parker County Brewing Company in Willow Park, TX. The festival will begin at 5 p.m. and will feature an impressive lineup of blues musicians, including James Hinkle, Biscuit Miller and Friends, with the renowned Chris Cain as the headliner at 8 p.m. This event promises to be a vibrant, free outdoor celebration of creativity and community connection.
The Parker County Pickers, the organizers behind the festival, emerged from a shared passion for music and a desire to reconnect the community post-COVID. Co-founder Joe Lilly expressed the group’s vision: creating a welcoming space where musicians and fans alike could come together. Since its inception, the Parker County Pickers have grown from a small gathering of friends to a dynamic community of over 3,000 members, offering nearly daily live music events and fostering a sense of unity through their love for song.
This year’s festival highlights the mission of the Lilly Youth and Arts Foundation, established in 2024 to enhance access to fine arts education for children while supporting independent musicians facing challenges in gaining recognition. Founders Joseph and Kim Lilly aim to bridge the gap between creativity and opportunity, providing vital resources for aspiring artists and nurturing young talents. This initiative addresses the systemic barriers that prevent many children from exploring their creative potential and supports musicians in establishing sustainable careers.
The Brews and Blues Festival serves as a celebration of this mission, encouraging a community atmosphere where musicians can connect with their audience, and fans can discover new favorite acts. With its family-friendly environment and commitment to the power of music, the festival invites everyone to gather and enjoy the arts.
