Blake Lively is facing criticism on TikTok after an old interview has resurfaced, following a previously infamous conversation with journalist Kjersti Flaa from 2016. A clip from a 2017 interview with DP/30 promoting her film “All I See Is You” has gone viral, as viewers call it “hard to watch.”
In the interview, when asked if she felt “free to try everything,” Lively rolled her eyes and responded, “What does that mean?” The reporter referenced an earlier part of the discussion by noting that she won’t be singing. Lively interrupted him, emphasizing that she did sing in the film and humorously challenged him to a pop quiz at the end.
TikTok user @c–tychanel accused Lively of “terrorizing” the interviewer, labeling the interaction as “rude.” Many users echoed similar sentiments, questioning the behavior of celebrities during interviews.
Conversely, some defended Lively, suggesting the criticism was overblown and that others were exaggerating her demeanor. Lively’s representative has yet to provide a comment on the matter.
The renewed focus on Lively comes amid reports of tension with her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni. Reports indicate that Baldoni made Lively feel uncomfortable regarding her postpartum body after the birth of her fourth child. It was alleged that other cast members refrained from interacting with Baldoni during the film’s New York City premiere.
Baldoni has not publicly addressed the claims, including accusations that Lively felt “fat-shamed” by him, although he has reportedly hired a crisis public relations manager. Meanwhile, Lively has faced backlash on social media for promoting her business ventures during a press tour that centers on serious themes of domestic violence, prompting her to share resources related to the issue on her Instagram Story.
