The Buffalo Bills achieved a dominant victory over the Tennessee Titans with a score of 34-10 at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, scoring 34 consecutive points after trailing 10-0 in the second quarter.
After a strong start from the Titans, Buffalo’s offense began to dominate, scoring on all five of their second-half possessions. Titans quarterback Mason Rudolph, making his first start for the team, completed 25 of 40 passes for 215 yards, including one touchdown and one interception.
Josh Allen led the Bills, throwing for 323 yards and two touchdowns, while rookie receiver Keon Coleman had a breakout game with four receptions for 125 yards.
Following this loss, the Titans have a disappointing record of 1-5, marking their worst start since 2015.
In the post-game press conference, Titans coach Brian Callahan spoke on various topics, including the performance of his team in the first half when they managed to run the ball effectively and the decision to go for it on fourth down. Callahan shed light on quarterback Will Levis’ condition, revealing that Levis had been limited in practice earlier in the week due to a shoulder issue and would now be evaluated on a week-to-week basis.
The Titans also dealt with issues on their offensive line, particularly at right tackle, as Nicholas Petit-Frere struggled against the Bills’ defensive front following Jaelyn Duncan’s hamstring injury after the first drive of the game.
Buffalo capped their impressive comeback with a late touchdown run by Ray Davis, and their defense held strong through the game’s second half, effectively shutting down the Titans’ attempts to regain momentum.
Throughout the game, the Bills showcased a decisive offensive strategy and consistent performance from their quarterback, while the Titans faced challenges in execution and decision-making, exacerbating their struggles this season.
