To fill the void left by Palmer, the Bills have signed linebacker Baylon Spector to their active roster from the practice squad. Spector, a four-year veteran, has a familiarity with the team, having participated in 29 regular-season games and one playoff game throughout his career. This season, he contributed in three regular-season contests, recording two tackles, and demonstrating his value on special teams with 40 snaps.
In addition to Spector, the Bills have elevated two players from the practice squad for the upcoming game: defensive end Andre Jones Jr. and running back Frank Gore Jr. Jones, who also has three appearances this season, recorded five tackles and has been effective in both defensive and special teams roles. He is expected to bolster the defensive line as a substitute, particularly against the run.
Meanwhile, Gore has spent the last two seasons on the Bills’ practice squad without making a regular-season or playoff appearance. He was previously elevated for a Monday Night Football game against the New York Jets but did not see any action.
