In an interview with Radio Times, Piper described her character as a “really accomplished musician” with a rich backstory. Reflecting on her admiration for Burton, she shared how she has long been a fan of his iconic films like “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Frankenweenie.” She remarked, “I watched Beetlejuice so many times as a kid that I actually feel like it inspired the interiors in my house and the clothes I wear.”
Piper, known for her role in “Doctor Who,” conveyed her “overwhelmed” feelings about working with Burton, noting his childlike energy and engaging personality. She emphasized how the atmosphere of working with him felt like being integrated into one of his unique artistic creations.
Fans of the show can look forward to “Wednesday” Season 2, which Netflix revealed will be released in two parts in summer 2025. Part 1 is set for release on August 6, 2025, followed by Part 2 on September 3, 2025.
