Biden and Harris Take Center Stage: What to Expect at Day 1 of the DNC

Day 1 of the Democratic National Convention is taking place in Chicago, featuring President Biden as the main speaker. The Democratic National Convention Committee released a detailed schedule for the evening, which runs from 6:15 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. ET. The evening begins with opening remarks from Minyon Moore, Chair of the 2024 Democratic National Convention Committee, followed by notable speakers including Jaime R. Harrison, Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson.
