This year, Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with an impressive ten nods, including one for Album of the Year for his latest work, “GNX.” Doechii and Drake are not far behind, both receiving six nominations. Doechii is in the running for her mixtape “Alligator Bites Never Heal” and has additional nominations for Video of the Year and the Viewer’s Choice Award.
The Ultimate Icon Awards will honor industry titans for their significant contributions to music and community. This year’s honorees include Jamie Foxx, Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg, and Kirk Franklin.
