Following the match between Real Madrid and Villarreal, Jude Bellingham, who played the entire game, shared his thoughts with Realmadrid TV. “I’m really happy with our reaction, the performance, and the result after a tough week that affected us as a team. Dani’s situation leaves a bitter taste in our mouths, and they are still conducting tests on him. We hope it’s just a minor issue and that he can return soon. He is a vital player for us and has a strong personality. We’re hopeful for his recovery.”
Bellingham remarked on Villarreal’s quality, saying, “They are a good team, adept at ball movement and possess talented players. However, we started the match strongly, applying aggressive pressure and executing quick transitions. We netted two fantastic goals and maintained control of the game, even during moments when we didn’t hold the ball.”
Commenting on the goals, he added, “We practiced this morning with Fede. I made a short run, he passed the ball through my legs, and then Fede took a shot from distance. This was a tactic Francesco implemented during set-pieces. Vini’s goal came from a moment of individual brilliance. We managed the ball effectively, drawing them in to create openings, and Vini delivered an excellent finish.”
On his personal performance, Bellingham reflected, “I feel great. While I’m not scoring, I’m enjoying myself more because I’m getting involved in the attacking plays. I’m enjoying my style of play. I do want to score again, but the most important thing is that the team wins, and I can play a part in that.”
