Behind the Scenes of Luxury Travel: How Jaclyn Sienna India Curates Unique Experiences for the Elite

Jaclyn Sienna India launched her travel concierge service, Sienna Charles, in 2008 with the intent to establish her business despite initially having no clients. In her early days, she would inform potential customers that her services were fully booked when, in reality, she was starting from scratch.

Fast forward sixteen years, India has successfully built a client roster that includes prominent world leaders and celebrities like Mariah Carey. Her clientele typically comprises individuals earning over $100 million annually, who often have access to most exclusive experiences without her help. So, what distinguishes India’s services?

According to India, the essence of her business lies in the care and attention she provides to her clients. Drawing from her background as a server, she understands the nuances of human interaction and values the importance of empathy in service.

Sienna Charles features an extensive network of over 2,000 connections across the hospitality sector, which allows India to craft tailored travel and dining experiences that are unique to her clients’ desires. “My clients have their visions but often lack the necessary tools or time to realize them,” she explains. India prides herself on translating her clients’ hopes into tangible experiences.

While luxury is a part of her service, India emphasizes that she aims to offer more meaningful experiences rather than simply the most lavish options. For example, she prefers promoting unique dining experiences at places like Single Thread Farms over traditional high-end venues.

India has orchestrated exceptional outings for her clients, from candlelit dinners in Versailles to brunch atop the Arc de Triomphe. She also integrates personal connections into her events, organizing meals with influential families such as the Hermès and Fendi clans.

At times, her clients request simple comforts, as in the case of former President George W. Bush, whom she ensured had familiar snacks during his trip to Ethiopia, making sure to include elements that reminded him of home.

“I genuinely care about people,” India says, noting that she engages with various individuals throughout her day to uncover the best possible experiences for her clients. She believes that the essence of travel goes beyond luxury, offering authentic and deeply personal experiences is what truly matters.
