The ongoing discussions surrounding “It Ends With Us” continue to capture attention, bringing to light past interviews with Blake Lively that have resurfaced online.

Lively, 36, and her co-star Justin Baldoni reportedly faced “creative differences” while working on the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel. A source revealed to Us Weekly that there were factions forming within the production, stating, “There were two camps on the film — team Blake and team Justin.” This tension reportedly led to a negative atmosphere on set, ultimately resulting in silence between the two.

Fans of “It Ends With Us” appear to be choosing sides in the Lively-Baldoni dynamic, with some media figures sharing prior experiences involving Lively. As the film premiered on August 9, speculation about the rift intensified, particularly regarding the final cut of the movie.

One key moment sparking interest was a recent interview conducted by Jake Hamilton, in which Lively made a comment that caused confusion and concern among viewers. During the discussion, when asked how someone could approach her to discuss the film’s themes related to her character’s abusive relationship, Lively jokingly suggested sharing personal information like her address or phone number. Hamilton later clarified that her comment was part of a larger conversation that included a serious discussion of the film’s topics.

Additionally, a viral video of a 2016 interview surfaced in which Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa described a dismissive remark Lively made when Flaa congratulated her on her pregnancy. Flaa expressed that Lively’s comment felt like a personal attack, given her own struggles with infertility.

In another interview from 2017 promoting “All I See Is You,” Lively responded playfully to a question about her career freedom, hinting at a pop quiz for the reporter at the end.

Lively has also faced criticism for her promotional focus on the floral elements of “It Ends With Us,” rather than offering resources for domestic violence victims. Despite this backlash, she has made efforts to share support resources for survivors on her Instagram Stories.
