Against Purdue

– Oregon State has faced Purdue only twice before, both games taking place in West Lafayette, Indiana.

– The Beavers won 22-14 in 1967, but lost 30-21 in 2021.

– Only four current players participated in the 2021 game, including Joshua Gray, who logged one of his 47 career starts during the defeat. Skyler Thomas, Everett Hayes, and Semisi Saluni also featured in that match.

– Trevon Bradford, now a member of the Oregon State staff focusing on recruiting, caught five passes for 75 yards in the 2021 game.

– The 1967 victory occurred during a standout season for the Beavers, known as the “Giant Killers,” which included a win over the No. 2 Boilermakers and a later victory over No. 1 USC.

Hank Into The End Zone

– Anthony Hankerson scored four touchdowns during his time at Colorado and has already surpassed that total with five in his initial three games with the Beavers.

– With 283 rushing yards this season, he needs just 37 more to set a new single-season record, surpassing the 319 yards he achieved last season with the Buffaloes.

– Hankerson scored two touchdowns against Oregon, becoming the first Beaver running back since B.J. Baylor in 2021 to have five rushing touchdowns in the first three games of the season.

– Nationally, Hankerson ranks 19th with his 283 rushing yards and stands eighth in rushing touchdowns with five.

Walker Over Three

– Trent Walker began the season with just five catches for 66 yards but has far exceeded that with 20 receptions for 192 yards so far this year.

– Averaging 9.6 yards per catch, 102 of Walker’s 192 receiving yards have come following the catch, according to Pro Football Focus.
