If you’re looking to cool down, 7-Eleven is offering free Slurpees to help beat the heat.

The convenience store chain is celebrating its 97th birthday with a special giveaway on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Here’s all you need to know about this year’s Free Slurpee Day.

What are the rules for Slurpee Day?

Customers can visit participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores to get a free small Slurpee drink.

“Attention! It’s 7/11 aka FREE #SLURPEEDAY!!!,” the company tweeted.

This summer promotion marks the 22nd consecutive year that 7-Eleven has hosted Free Slurpee Day.

How many Slurpees can you get on Free Slurpee Day?

7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can enjoy an additional free small Slurpee by scanning their rewards information on Slurpee Day and redeeming the offer before July 31.

“Starting today, customers can also grab $1 deals on fan-favorite items like pizza and 7-Select™ gummies, through July 23,” the company announced in a press release. “To keep the celebration going, 7-Eleven is offering 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members the opportunity to win free sips and snacks, including Slurpee drinks, for an entire year by shopping participating products.”

Additionally, 7-Eleven is partnering with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to design a special edition Slurpee cup that showcases creativity and self-expression through art.

“Slurpee Day is more than just a birthday celebration for 7-Eleven; it’s a cherished tradition that brings communities together,” said Marissa Jarratt, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer at 7-Eleven, Inc. “This year, we’re excited to share this day with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and positively impact kids’ health and our communities through our in-store fundraising efforts.”

7-Eleven, headquartered in Irving, Texas, operates more than 13,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada, which are owned, franchised, or licensed.
