Jesse Palmer is set to bring a touch of romance and competition to HGTV with the launch of “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” featuring twelve familiar faces from the “Bachelor” franchise. The show will premiere on March 2 and aims to provide a long-overdue makeover to the iconic Bachelor Mansion.

Described by HGTV as “one of the most famous homes in television history,” the mansion will serve as the backdrop for a design competition where contestants will utilize their renovation skills to transform both well-known and previously unseen spaces within the mansion through weekly challenges.

The competition promises excitement as participants will not only showcase their creativity but will also take bold design risks while forming alliances and facing unexpected eliminations. The judging panel includes Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron, along with a surprise guest judge each week who will evaluate the transformed spaces.

“One ‘Bachelor’ alum will win bragging rights and a generous cash prize of $100,000. Palmer expressed the unique aspect of the competition, stating that for the first time viewers will get an exclusive look at the mansion in a way they’ve never seen it before. With the pressure on, the contestants must complete their renovations before the premiere of the next season of “The Bachelorette.”

The cast features a diverse group of alumni from the franchise, including Dean Bell, Joan Vassos, Jill Chin, Noah Erb, Allyshia Gupta, Tammy Ly, Sandra Mason, Sam McKinney, Brendan Morais, Courtney Robertson Preciado, Jeremy Simon, and Christopher Stallworth.

As the contestants work under the watchful eye of the judges, they will also welcome special guests throughout the season. These guests include former “Bachelorette” Hannah Brown, designer Nate Berkus, actress Rachel Bilson, former “Bachelorette” JoJo Fletcher, HGTV host Christina Haack, and former “Bachelor” Sean Lowe.

“Bachelor Mansion Takeover” kicks off on March 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV, with new episodes available for streaming on HBO Max and discovery+ the day after they air. This innovative merge of romance and renovation is bound to attract fans of both the design world and reality television.
