Ba FC Reunites Veteran Duo Ahead of IDC Title Bid

Ba FC Reunites with Veteran Stars Ahead of IDC Push

Praneel Naidu, former captain of Ba FC, has rejoined the Men in Black, reinforcing the squad just before next week’s Inter District Championship (IDC). The 30-year-old defender, who last wore the Ba jersey during the triumphant 2025 IDC campaign, returns with a wealth of experience and leadership skills that once steered his team to victory.

Ba’s head coach, Rodeck Singh, has warmly welcomed the return of Naidu, as well as star midfielder Mohammad Raheem, both of whom are expected to significantly bolster the team’s championship push. “Their experience is invaluable, providing an enormous advantage and a motivational lift for the entire squad,” Singh remarked.

With this reunion, Ba FC strengthens its lineup, positioning itself as a formidable contender for the championship. The team will face stiff competition in Group B, competing against strong opponents like the reigning Extra Premier League champions Rewa, the previous year’s IDC finalists Navua, and the tenacious side from Nadroga.

The return of veteran players Naidu and Raheem is not just a morale boost but also a strategic move by Ba FC, highlighting their determination to leverage experience to reclaim their dominance in local football. Known for its rich football legacy, Ba FC is focused on channeling this historical strength alongside current talent to achieve their championship goals.

Supported by strong leadership and tactical improvements, Ba FC is intent on capturing the IDC title once again. The local football community is filled with optimism, eagerly looking forward to the team’s performance, buoyed by renewed hopes and the potential to once again affirm their position at the top.
