AWS Outage Disrupts Lions-Bucs Monday Night Tickets

Fans hoping to attend the upcoming match between the Detroit Lions and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Ford Field on Monday night are currently facing challenges accessing their tickets due to an ongoing outage of Amazon Web Services (AWS).

In a statement, the Lions informed supporters, “Ticketmaster and AWS continue to work through the outage. We encourage fans to re-log in to their system as accounts are coming back online. If you can access your tickets, we highly recommend you move them into the wallet on your device. We will continue to provide updates as we have them leading up to kickoff.”

Amazon confirmed the outage early on Monday and provided updates throughout the day. By 4 p.m. EST, the company stated, “Service recovery across all AWS services continues to improve,” indicating that efforts to restore functionality were underway. The disruption has affected multiple services, notably Ticketmaster, the NFL’s official ticketing partner.

As for the Lions, currently boasting a 4-2 record, they are eager to secure a victory before heading into their bye week and aim to improve their impressive home record to 3-0 this season. Fans remain hopeful that ticket access issues will be resolved swiftly, allowing for a strong turnout at the game.
