Looking Ahead to the 2024-25 Season
This season, top prospect Calum Ritchie stands out as a prime candidate for his first game with the Avalanche. His debut is highly anticipated by both the organization and fans, regardless of whether it happens this season or later. Aside from Ritchie, there are other signed prospects like defenseman Sean Behrens and forwards Ivan Ivan and Chase Bradley, who could be called up from the Colorado Eagles. Matt Stienburg, a forward, also remains a potential candidate as he approaches the final year of his Entry-Level Contract.
Additionally, European free agents like Finnish forward Jere Innala could see their first NHL game count as a debut, despite being 26 years old.
