The bowling attack remains consistent, with Cummins opting to maintain the trio of quick bowlers used in their World Test Championship final, expressing confidence in their suitability for the pitch at Kensington Oval. However, he noted some uncertainty regarding the pitch’s behavior, stating, “We don’t really know what to expect.”
The West Indies will also field three fast bowlers—Shamar and Alzarri Joseph, and Jayden Seales—with new captain Roston Chase benefiting from the addition of two spinners, Jomel Warrican and himself.
