The Australian Federal Police (AFP) has reinforced its dedication to enhancing the capabilities of the Fiji Police Force (FPF) by delivering essential equipment for the Criminal Investigations Department’s Digital Forensic Unit. The handover took place in Suva, led by Detective Superintendent Grant Liddy, an AFP Senior Officer, and accepted by Senior Superintendent of Police Serupepeli Neiko, the Director of CID.
The newly provided equipment is vital for boosting the Digital Forensic Unit’s capacity to engage in comprehensive investigations related to digital evidence, which is increasingly important in tackling cyber crimes.
