Formerly known as Westenfield Neighborhood Park, the venue will be officially designated Don Baylor Park during a ceremony scheduled for February 28. Over the course of his 19-year MLB career, Don Baylor made a profound impact on the sport. He was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles and went on to play for several teams, including the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Angels, Oakland Athletics, and Minnesota Twins. In 1979, he won the American League Most Valuable Player (MVP) award and claimed a World Series title, further cementing his place in baseball history. He was also honored as Manager of the Year later in his career.
