Audi has unveiled its official livery for its inaugural season in Formula 1, showcasing a striking titanium, red, and black design during a launch event in Berlin. While the finalized design of its 2026 car, reportedly named the R26, remains under wraps, the colors were displayed on a show car that captivated attendees. Audi’s actual racing vehicle has already undergone shakedown runs at Barcelona, although further details are being kept private until the first pre-season test, which will occur behind closed doors next week.
Entering Formula 1 coincides with a major regulatory shift, and Audi has set a bold ambition under the banner of “Mission 2030,” aiming to clinch the championship by the start of the next decade. In its launch materials, Audi emphasized a structured plan for progress, stating, “Our goal is to win championships by 2030.”
Despite this optimism, team principal Jonathan Wheatley cautioned against complacency.
