Audacy’s Digital Future Takes Shape with New Leadership Shift!

Audacy has announced a significant leadership change with the promotion of Michael Biemolt to the position of President of Digital Sales, highlighting the company’s commitment to enhancing its digital future. This strategic move is part of Audacy’s efforts to strengthen its national and local digital sales initiatives.

In his new role, Biemolt will lead the development and execution of digital sales strategies, while remaining focused on creating innovative solutions that are impactful for Audacy’s partners. Biemolt will report directly to Bob Philips, who has recently taken on the role of Chief Revenue Officer.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new position, Biemolt stated, “I’m incredibly honored and excited to step into this role and lead Audacy’s continued digital growth. We have an inspiring team, and I look forward to working together to deliver meaningful impact and outcomes for our partners and clients nationwide.”

Chris Oliviero, Audacy’s Chief Business Officer, echoed this sentiment, noting that Biemolt’s leadership will enhance Audacy’s growing digital portfolio. He emphasized the importance of leveraging Biemolt’s expertise to energize digital sales and create better outcomes for both local and national teams.

Biemolt brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having recently served as Executive Vice President with a focus on digital and national sales. His career at Audacy and previous organizations includes several prominent positions, showcasing his deep understanding of the media landscape. In addition to his work at Audacy, Biemolt has held leadership positions at CBS Radio and CBS Television, underscoring a continuity of strong leadership from the former CBS networks.

This appointment signifies not just a reshuffle in leadership but also a focused strategy on digital transformation, which could position Audacy well for future growth. Biemolt’s trajectory at Audacy began at WBBM-FM “B96” in Chicago, where he progressively advanced from Promotions Director to Marketing Director, reflecting his dedication and capability in driving successful initiatives.

As Audacy aims to continue building its digital capabilities, this leadership change is expected to unlock new opportunities, ultimately benefiting clients and partners alike.
